Description
Maybe you heard about how functional languages are so good for data processing, but didn’t really get why, or maybe you’re just looking for a reason to use Elixir and need motivation. If this sound like you, come see this talk! I’ll build a simple application to show two relatively new Elixir tools: Flow and GenStage. They were created to make it easier to build data processing pipelines, and are quite flexible and generic!
Guilherme de Maio: I’m a software engineer with 10 years of experience, focused on web applications, from ops to backend. Currently in love with Elixir, having worked with the language since 2015, being an active member of Elixir Meetups in São Paulo, Brazil and spreading Elixir love all around
