Exploring Ruby Stacks, com Gabriel Leopoldo

Ruby language ifself, by design, offers a unique flexibility and dinamicity, when compared to other languages. But, how does all this stuff works? In order to achieve a greater agility, it’s important to have knowledge about the tool’s internal operation. Thus, in this talk, I’m going to make a introduction to the process of interpretation and compilation of a single Ruby script, until it’s executed by the CRuby’s virtual machine: the YARV.

Gabriel Leopoldo: I’ve been working as Ruby developer at Email Marketing and SMTP team at Locaweb for one and a half year. I like a lot to programming, so while most of my time I’m coding in Ruby, I also have worked in apps written in Python, and, as a hobby, I’m studying Javascript and Elixir.
